Kajukenbo Arizona has self-defense programs for Ladies, Adults, & Kids Whether you are interested in self-defense, getting in shape, or just staying fit, we can help.
Our Principles: Loyalty, Respect, Courage, Honesty, Integrity, and Self-Control allow us to train hard -
yet act as models to the people we come in contact with.
Staying fit and having fun at the same? Yes!
We train for real-world self defense.
Even so, we still have fun!
Our Ladies Kickbocking & MMA classes offer an opportunity for women to get in shape, stay fit, and learn practical self-defense all at the same time!
Most newcomers find the atmosphere not as 'scary' as they thought it would be. Within a class or two, our new ladies are quite comfortable with the classes; and even within one class begin to feel that they are learning real world skills for self-defense.
Classes generally start with a quick warm up to get the heart pumping and then moves into either the skills session or the cardio conditioning session of the class.
We train children to learn how to protect themselves.
As we do so, we also teach the values of self-control, discipline, respect, integrity. These are life skills that are important to the child anywhere.
Our Little Dragons begin by learning to control their bodies. They also learn how become better listeners and better communicators.
Our primary objective with the Little Dragon student is to increase his or her listening and learning skills while at the same time increasing their awareness of their physical capabilities.

Our Character development programs allow Juniors learn qualities like respect and discipline
Our Juniors program is designed to increase self-confidence as well as to enable the student to become more physically fit.
We also give the Juniors opportunities to increase their self-control, discipline, and respect. Our Juniors generally do well in school because of the habits that they learn and practice here in the dojo.
Juniors that progress will be offered an opportunity to gain in their leadership qualities by joiining our junior leadership program: SWAT. The Special Winning Attitude Team develops the leadership skills to a cutting edge. Truly, our SWAT Juniors are an amazing example of great future leaders in the community.

We do hit hard, yet we respect our training partners and desire that everyone enjoy the benefits of training - so we practice self-control and discipline.
All instructors and students practice humility by being helpful to everyone they come in contact with. We enjoy the friendly and welcoming Ohana (Family) atmosphere. Newcomers often comment on at how welcomed they feel and how 'at home' the dojo feels.
We train to be warriors - while at the same time we show respect and humilty to everyone we meet.
